i am arranging for a car transport from Springfield, VA to Oshkosh.  Too far to drive all the way there and back in a couple of days.

I am currently working with UShip.com looking for bids.    Any suggestions on alternatives?

The clutch on my 71 MGB was sluggish.  It worked, but you could almost sidestep it without having it engage too hard.  It also was a little stiffer when releasing than other Bs.
A Google search turned up the answer.  The flex hose going to the slave cylinder was bad.  Not leaking or even swollen, but deteriorated inside.  A new hose fixed the problem, now the clutch is lighter, and releases ............ well just like any other car.
As most British cars use about the same hydraulics, the fix should apply to a lot of cars. Hopes this helps someone.

I was there last year.  Won't be going this year.
It was a long day til 4 in the afternoon and then the drive back.
I think it would be worth it if the show was on a Sat.

Hi All.  A guy up the road from me just listed a 76 B roadster for sale.  Car is factory dark purple in color. In good shape and appears to be original.  Says, around 80,000 miles.  No rust that I could see.  Did not get a chance to drive it yet.  No OD that I can see.  He is asking $4900.   It has new tires.  Only thing I saw was two small tears one in the seat and one in the seat back, drivers side.

If anyone is looking for a nice original B, le me know and I will get the phone number.

I have no interest in this sale,
