We had a tech session on paint repair, reconditioning and making it presentable. There were close to 30 people that attended. Mark did a fantastic job explaining, and the hands on work was enjoyed by all.

We had a good showing for the meeting. Club business was discussed and Tim was re-elected as president for another term. There were 7 chilli entries for tasting and voting.
There was a tie for best chili. The winners: Jan Wittkopf and Valerie Stabenow. Congratulations!

Mark gave a wonderful presentation on three topics. One was about how to use UV dye to detect fluid leaks. It’s a great way to identify new vs. old leaks. Then we moved on to the MightyVac. A great device for removing fluids from your vehicle. Finally, we talked about engine compression and how to do a leak down test to see if you need to rebuild that engine. Thanks to everyone who came out and participated in the Tech Session. Everyone had a great time talking brake lines and there was a lot of good conversation on the topic. I think everyone learned something. Then we all had a chance to put our knowledge to the test with the real thing. Who knew making brake lines could be so easy.

The weather wasn’t the greatest but that didn’t stop us. We had a great turn out for the open house. Not many british carsin the parking lot but a couple of us braved the weather and brought our cars out. FCBCC had our annual meeting. We had a great turnout! It was a beautiful day. New board members are Bob-Secretary and Mark-Membership Director. Congratulations to you both and welcome aboard! We had 12 soup pots entered in our competition. Delicious to say the least. And the desert bars and treats were wonderful!! Good to get out of the house and mingle with old friends.

The open house was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who came out and brought their cars. While the outside temperature was a little hot, the inside of the clubhouse was nice and cool if you got too hot. Everyone was having a great time looking at the cars, having lunch and talking with follow club members.

Wow! Thank you to everyone who came out to the club house today to help clean! We had a great turn out and the place is looking great for our open house next weekend. Thank you to everyone who came out to our annual open house. The event was a great success. It was a beautiful day, maybe a little chilly but at least the sun was shinning. We had a wonderful turn out with about 60 people and about 25 cars. The grill was going and we served Hamburgers, Hotdogs and Brats for lunch. We hope everyone had a great time.
