Sunday we went driving to raise money for men’s health. This was a world wide event that raised $400,000 USD. There were 6015 drivers in 66 countries that participated. It was so refreshing to get out and drive again. We took a casual tour of the country roads north and west of Appleton. We had 13 cars show up for the drive and the weather was wonderful. What a great day we had driving and enjoying all our friends again.

We had a very nice local drive recently thru and around the back roads of far west Neenah WI. Roads I would venture to say we have never been on or even knew of. Great time. Love the tree lined tunnel roads best!

In spite of rather nasty looking overcast skies, a few of us hardy FCBCC peeps had a very nice drive today. Only a few minutes of rain. This was really the XKE maiden road trip. It ran flawlessly! The drive planned for June 6th to The Throttle Stop located in Elkhart Lake and lunch at The Lakehouse located on Cedar Lake in Kiel, WI has been postponed. The Throttle Stop is not hosting tours at the present time due to the pandemic.
However, on June 20th, Tim Schulte will lead the group on a drive to Kiel, WI with a lunch stop at Parker Johns BBQ. After lunch the drive will continue...

It was a great day for a drive. This event was also a learning opportunity. Mark put together a wonderful presentation on the Yellowstone trail giving us the history of it and how it runs right through our backyard. Then we went out to drive the actual trail. This past weekend we went on a nice ride to Aniwa Wisconsin. The weather was perfect and the back roads were beautiful. After stopping for lunch we went to the Motorama Auto Museum. I wasn’t able to make this drive but it looks like we had a good turnout. The weather was good and it appears everyone had a great time. Attendees enjoyed a stop at the Trading Post for Bloody Marys or a beverage of your choice. I also noticed from the pictures that Mike’s Morris Minor had some mechanical difficulties. What a great day for a drive. The weather was perfect and the route Dave mapped out for us was very peaceful and scenic. We had lunch at the Indian Crossing Casino in Waupaca. It’s not really a casino so no gambling was involved. After lunch we took another scenic drive around the Chain O Lakes.
